What is Gianduja?
Gianduja (the last j is pronounced as a y) is a chocolate and hazelnut creation that was developed in Turin in Italy in the 1800s. Developed to help with rising costs of cocoa at the time, the percentage of cocoa in chocolate was reduced and mixed with local hazelnuts that had been ground to a paste.
Our Gianduja is made with finely ground hazelnuts smoothed into a paste and combined with fine Belgian chocolate, to create a silky smooth, traditional premium quality chocolate that just melts in your mouth (and in your fingers if you hold it for too long).
Try slicing Gianduja thinly onto Sour Dough toast or sprinkle over Ice Cream for a truly premium indulgent treat.
