And for those who love all chocolate, white chocolate is a welcome addition to the chocolate family—a chocolate to be enjoyed in small, occasional doses, or in equal doses to milk chocolate and dark chocolate.

For those who like something a little different, we’ve worked on some unique and delectable flavour combos in our limited-edition white chocolate blocks. Firstly, we created the White Strawberry Cashew Bliss Block, made using flavoursome Australian-grown strawberries, crunchy cashew brittle, and white chocolate. We also conjured up a Matcha Tea chocolate block, where we achieved a unique nutty, and slightly savoury, flavour by combining matcha powder with white chocolate. 

Why not try our White Pistachio Block, containing 30% white chocolate combined with delicious, roasted pistachio nuts? Or our Salted Caramel block, that balances the sweetness of white chocolate with briny salted caramel?

White Chocolate-Covered Treats

White chocolate combines well with nuts, jellies and sultanas, and we have plenty to choose from in our collection. Starting with White Chocolate Raspberry Jellies! White Chocolate hot chocolate or espresso coffee: Pop some squares of white chocolate into the bottom of your mug before you mix in your hot chocolate or coffee. Then shave some white chocolate on top at the end, for a delicious white chocolate hot drink.

White chocolate on ice-cream: Melt some white chocolate down and then drizzle it onto a bowl of fresh ice cream. Wait for it to harden before you crack into it with your spoon!

White chocolate cheese cake: Melt down white chocolate and use it in your next cheese cake, whether it be a baked or no-cook cheese cake. There are heaps of white chocolate cheese cake recipes out there, many including white chocolate ganache. Add in berries, like raspberries or strawberries, for a winning combination.

White Chocolate—Is It Really Chocolate?

White chocolate is made by combining milk powder, sugar, and cocoa butter extracted from cocoa beans. Vanilla, or other flavourings like caramel, are often added to enhance the taste.

White chocolate doesn’t contain cocoa solids, only cocoa fat, meaning it doesn’t have that brown colour and cocoa flavour chocolate is famous for. However, with a significant portion of cocoa butter included, white chocolate definitely receives the ‘chocolate’ classification!
