CHOCOLATE EASTER EGGS FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY TO ENJOY

Easter is a time to get together with friends and family, and ideally, indulge in delicious chocolate. You’ll need enough to go around, so our Family Easter Egg Box is a great option. An egg hunt is a classic kid’s activity at Easter time. It’s great to plan ahead and get a range of small-sized chocolate Easter eggs to leave in hiding spots, plus some prized novelty eggs as part of the mix. To make the job of stocking up on eggs easy, we offer bags of Milk Chocolate Mini Easter Eggs (500g) which give you ample eggs to distribute amongst the children. These mini Easter eggs come in fun flavours, like Hot Cross Bun, Strawberry Truffle , Peppermint Truffle and Turkish Delight.

We’ve also put together our Eggcellent Hunt Boxes that contain an assortment of large size chocolate eggs, with plenty of mini eggs to share around. These are available in Milk Chocolate and Dark Chocolate versions.

Easter Egg hunt tips:

• You can run the Easter hunt like a treasure hunt, with clues on a map, written or drawn up, or alternatively, just hide eggs around and ‘help’ the kids find them by edging them in certain directions.
• Easter egg hunts traditionally occur outdoors, but if the weather’s not looking good, there’s no reason why you can’t do it inside. Remember, it only takes a moment for the Easter Bunny to slip into the house through an open door!
  If the egg hunt is indoors, keep it simple and limit the egg locations to one room.
• Remember, the kids will need some sort of receptacle to carry the eggs in. Look out for cute baskets in secondhand shops, or easter-themed bags. If you can’t find those, anything else will do. The kids won’t care, as long as they get those eggs!
• If a bunch of kids are hunting together, it’s a good idea to ask them to put any eggs they find in a collective basket, so you can distribute evenly at the end of the hunt. This stops quarrels over who got the most.
• Finally, if you’re worried about your kids eating an excess of sweets, you can mix it up with some healthy treats along the hunt. Consider placing fresh berries in a little spot for the kids to find, so that they have a mix of fruits and chocolates in their basket at the end.
